Scandinavian Airlines has signed a code-share agreement with Star Alliance partner ANA of Japan.
customers will be able to book ANA operated flights between Tokyo's Narita International Airport and Sapporo, Osaka and Fukuoka, which will operate with an SK flight code. ANA will also add
its NH code to SAS' Tokyo to Copenhagen flights. Furthermore, ANA will at a later stage also add its NH code to SAS flights from: London to Copenhagen, Oslo and Stockholm; Frankfurt to Copenhagen, Oslo and Stockholm; and from Munich to Copenhagen and Oslo.
"It is almost to the day 60 years since we established the first route between Scandinavia and Tokyo. Tokyo is now one of our most popular long-haul destinations, and this agreement with ANA signifies the importance of Japan in the SAS network and the possibility to transport our customers to other important destinations in Japan," says Rickard Gustafson, President and CEO, Scandinavian Airlines.
